The vision of the Center is to be recognized as a pinnacle leader for research in Biodiversity in the Middle East region.

The mission is to promote international and national excellence in Biodiversity through research and educational programs. In order to achieve the above stated mission, the Center will advance the frontiers of knowledge through basic and advanced research of Biodiversity

 
 Educate young researchers who will consequently be better equipped to fulfill university, governmental, and private sector needs

 
 Secure and strengthening the stature of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the field of Biodiversity research

 
 Contribute to the applied research results and practical conservation of biodiversity, in addition to the protection of rare and endangered species

 
 Maintain and expand the scientific library
